LONDON

Stained glass windows in the City of London

calendarizzato_uk

A special walk to discover the history and the spiritual meaning of stained glass windows. Many historic buildings in the City, both secular and religious, are decorated with magical works, in different styles, all great examples of craftsmanship, art and spirituality.

We will see rare coloured glass which survived the Great Fire (1666), some Victorians examples saved from the Blitz (1940), and many others, created by talented artists right after the Second World War.
All these windows still represent a positive and multicoloured contribution to the history of the city.
