The City is the oldest part of London. It started with the Romans, 2000 years ago, grew rapidly during the medieval period, and experienced Fire, industrial revolution, bombing and post-war redevelopment. Today is a vibrant centre of world finance boasting skyscrapers and imaginative buildings, while preserving its traditions and historic landmarks.
On this walk we will uncover layers of history, from rugged Roman walls to modern architectures.
